Lindsey Luxa’s passion for the details of extraordinary event design inspired her to launch Dragonfly Custom Design in 2005.  Her belief, that couture invitations generate a genuine excitement in guests by making an unforgettable first impression, fuels her boundless creativity to design unique one-of-a-kind pieces.  “Couture invitations represent milestone moments whether clients are hosting a wedding, social or corporate event.  It’s about expressing the client’s vision and personal style in a truly exceptional way.”

Couture invitations have become a key design element utilized by top event designers worldwide.  Lindsey is an award-winning designer and a sought after trend expert in the field of special events and graphic design and her innovation and the hand-crafted quality of her invitations have been recognized in both national and international publications. In only a few short years, Dragonfly Custom Design has quickly risen to the top of the industry to become one of the nation’s leading custom invitation companies.  Lindsey’s one-of-a-kind designs are favored by both celebrity and high-end wedding, social and corporate clients around the world.  Her couture invites have been commissioned for the Gala Opening of the Austrian Consulate, a National Book Launch for Amazon’s #1 best seller in the Thriller category, countless Platinum Weddings and featured on the national mainstream program “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?”  Lindsey’s talent has also been tapped by global entertainment networks and programs such as Discovery Channel’s Trading Spaces, Nickelodeon, TLC, the Style Network, Banyan and HARPO Productions.  Her work has been seen worldwide and has earned her an impeccable reputation as a skilled artist and art director for film and television.

Before launching Dragonfly, Lindsey studied "green" art at New College of Florida in Sarasota then expanded her focus to digital art where she honed her design skills at the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design.  She now shares her expertise as a professor of graphic design and serves as a chosen member of the Ritz-Carlton National Vendor Team traveling the country to produce unparalleled pieces for Ritz-Carlton exclusive events featuring trendsetting designers such as Austin Scarlett, former contestant of Project Runway and current designer for Kenneth Pool Bridal.
